Hindu College participates in skill development training programme conducted by Red Cross Society

Skill development training for B.Ed students was held at the Hindu College on Thursday. A release from the college said that the skill development training was conducted by India Red Cross Society and the Youth Red Cross Society, Kanyakumari in association with the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET)

Chairman of the Hindu College Arumugam Pillai presided over the inaugural function and the former Principal of the college spoke on the services of IRCS. The District Secretary of IRCS Nagendran offered felicitations. Whereas, Youth Red Cross Society (YRCS) Convenor P.R. Venukmar welcomed the gathering. Seventy five students and 10 lecturers from the college participated in the programme. They were given certificates during the valedictory function held in the evening, the release added.
