1 lakh SC youth of Amravati to get Skill Development Training

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh SC Corporation Chairman Jupudi Prabhakar said that the corporation would impart training to one lakh SC youth to get jobs under the skill development programme during the current financial year. Addressing a meeting held with representatives of skill development training institutes in Guntur, he said that the corporation would give importance to development and welfare programmes of the SCs. The State government had earmarked Rs 1,090 crore in the budget for the welfare of SCs in the current financial year. Stating that there were 20 lakh Dalit families in the State, he said the corporation would impart training to unemployed SC youth in every district to get jobs.

APSC Corporation Managing Director Vijay Kumar said that the corporation would impart training to the unemployed SC youth in 13 districts in the State and added that in each district, it would impart training to 10,000 youth. He urged the training institutes to come forward to impart training to the unemployed SC youth to improve their skills to get jobs.

He urged the unemployed youth to avail the training opportunity to get jobs. He explained the steps taken by the SC Corporation to provide employment opportunities to the SC youth. He said skill development programme was useful to upgrade their skills to get job. Later, training programmes were explained by various training institutes they are offering through power point presentation.
