DAIKIN India signed MoU with Directorate of Technical Training and Education, Govt. of Delhi

WORLD CLASS AC TRAINING & TECHNOLOGY FOR ITI STUDENTS

The Department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi Govt. has entered into an agreement with the Daikin Air-conditioning India mou8820161Private Ltd (DAIPL), a global leader in the manufacturing of AC systems to upgrade training in Air Conditioning at international standards. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Mr. Manoj Kumar (IAS), Director, TTE and Mr. A.P.S. Gandhi, Training Head, DAIPL in the presence of representatives of both the organizations.

Initially labs, in collaboration with Daikin, will be set up at Industrial Training Institutes, Pusa and Arab-ki-Sarai. It has been planned that soon Daikin will adopt B.Voc in Air-conditioning and Refrigeratimou8820162on courses that are being run in Aryabhat Institute of Technology and G.B. Pant Institute of Technology and facilities will be later expanded to the other institutes under DTTE also. Daikin will train and share the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) technology with the ITI students and Instructors.Training of the Trainers will also be done for all the instructors of Air-conditioning trade before the commencement of next academic session. The collaborative relationship will enable the ITI students to develop their skills as per International standards, which will enable them to get better placements.

As per the agreement, Daikin will share its training resources with the DTTE Institutes for a period of three years, i.e.2016-19.Deserving students may be considered for placement opportunities in Daikin or channel partners such as internship, live projects or fixed term employment contracts, etc.
