Assessment Bodies Association of India (ABAI) organizing ‘First Assessing Body Meet’ on 23rd Nov.

New Delhi : Assessment Bodies Association of India (ABAI), an institution established to bring all skill assessment agencies to a common platform is going to organize its ‘First Assessing Body Meet’ on 23rd November in New Delhi.

Skill Development ecosystem is undergoing frequent up-gradations impacting skill assessment bodies to align with the changing paradigm. Assessment Bodies associated with DGET, Sector Skill Councils, NSDC etc. are facing day to day challenges, lacking of policies, transparencies, communication gaps, non-formation of industry voice, non-involvement during polices etc. The news of formation of National Assessment Board /Central Board for Skills Certification are still not confirmed leaving ABs with no clue on how the Guidelines and about the future of Assessments and base of it.

In order to address the common challenges, issues such as stream lining, putting our voice to the respected regulatory bodies , and providing a platform to discuss the make a better understanding about aligning with the changing system needs, ABAI has decided to organize this first ever meet.
