Rajamahendravaram (Andhra Pradesh) : The much-awaited training programme at Skill Development Centre (SDC) takes off in Adikavi Nannaya University near here on Wednesday. This programme is being conducted jointly by Adikavi Nannaya University, Vikasa, AP Skill Development Corporation and Employment Generation Mission. Vice-Chancellor M Muthyala Naidu was the chief guest, while East Godavari District Collector H Arun Kumar was the guest of honour.
Speaking on the occasion, H Arun Kumar said that the East Godavari district is having more number of skill development centres in the State and added that this training programme will transform the lives of unemployed. He further said that this process will go under the aegis of Vikasa and maintained that Adikavi Nannaya University is providing assistance in the aspect of human resources and this will help in providing more jobs for unemployed youth.
Vice-Chancellor, M Muthyala Naidu said that Adikavi Nannaya University which is youngest university, has become largest university in the State with regard to human resources with 450 affiliated colleges.
