NCD organizing Skill Expo 2016 during Global Skill Summit 2016 at EDI, Ahemdabad

76% of Indian businesses are facing shortage of technical and specific skilled people. Our traditional education system is not able to provide specific skilled people as per industrial demands therefore more than 75% graduates do not have employability skill which meet with job criteria.

Our prime minister has given clear vision to leverage this unemployable youth into an opportunity and set goal to make India, “Skill Capital of World”.

Keeping in mind, to fill the gaps and bridge between the industry, academia, social institutions, policy making agencies and students, Navjeevan Center for Development with support of key dignitaries from Government of Gujarat, Entrepreneurship Development Institute, International Organization for Education and Development and SkillReporter.com as Official Media Partner, organizing “Global Skill Summit 2016”.

The summit will start at 8:30am on 17th December 2016 at Entrepreneurship Development Institute under Ministry of Skill Development. Honorable Governor of Gujarat Shri O.P. Kohali will inaugurate the summit. Honourable Shree Dilipkumar Thakor, Minister of Labour & Employment, Government of Gujarat and Shri Arvind Sharma, President, IOED will be chief guest to the event.  Key note  speakers include representatives from industry chambers Miss Bhagyesh Soneji, President, ASSOCHAM, Gujarat Chapter and Mr. K.T Patel Vice President, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industries and various eminent personalities
