UAE awards accreditation to Pakistan’s Technical Institutes

Islamabad : Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Pir Sadaruddin Shah Rashidi Thursday awarded Statements of Accreditation to the four Pakistani Technical and Vocational Institutes.

According to a press release issued here, the names of awarded institutions including ARAFAT Group of Tirocinium (AGT), Institute of Technology & Professional Education, Rawalpindi; Government College of Technology, Rasul, Mandi Bahauddin; Construction Technology Training Institute, Rawalpindi and Applied Technologies Institue, NLC, Mandra who have been accredited by the UAE’s National Qualification Authority (NQA) in view of their expertise in imparting skill development in connection with human resource development.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister expressed his firm belief that the said institutes would enhance UAE Employers’ confidence in the selection of migrant workers coming from Pakistan.

It would also help in skill development of Pakistani workforce mobility abroad particularly in UAE. Federal Secretary and senior officers of Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development, Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training and NAVTTC were also present during the ceremony.
