ATDC organized first of its kind Training of Trainers (ToT) on ‘Quality Management in Apparel Sector’

Ludhiana : A workshop on ‘Quality Management in Apparel Sector’, a first of its kind training programme, was conducted by Apparel Training & Design Centre (ATDC) and Training of Trainers (ToT) Academy at Ludhiana for Apparel Industry and Fashion Institutes.

The workshop sessions commenced with Roopali Shukla, advisor, ATDC-ToT giving an overview about the apparel and textile industry and the significant role of contribution of ATDC towards the ‘Skill India Mission’. This was followed by technical sessions that covered a spectrum of topics from quality in apparel fibre content identification, application of AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) in apparel industry, garment measurement techniques etc. The highlight of the sessions was live demonstrations and practical sessions on the ‘Textile Testing Machines’. The sessions were conducted by principal of ATDC Atul Verma, senior faculty including Rajnish Mathur and Jatinder Kaur.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Knitwear Industry Doyens, including Harish Dua, S.K. Jain and Ajit Lakra. Besides them Ashok Sharma was also present in the programme.
