San Francisco-headquartered EdgeMakers to provide additional skills to 10,000 Indian students

New Delhi : San Francisco-headquartered EdgeMakers, that develops comprehensive learning solutions, will provide its system to over 10,000 students across Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru by 2017-18.

EdgeMakers has operations in four countries — US, Brazil, Colombia and India. The EdgeMakers learning system is designed to empower students with tools and skills critical to become innovators and entrepreneurs, it said.

“Over the next twenty years, advancement in artificial intelligence will lead to machines taking over most of the jobs that people do today. To create impact in this technology led world, students need additional skill sets and capacities that are not covered in the existing school curriculum,” EdgeMakers Inc Country Head India Ramit Bhatnagar said.
