Dhalai district, despite of having literacy rate of 86 percent, its productive and sustainable employment generation has always been a challenge.
Apart from other constraints towards employment generation, skill deficit has also been a prominent constraint towards having gainful employment. Rural youth, poor men and women suffer the most in the want of employment. To implement the purpose, District Administration of Dhalai invites proposals from Training Agencies for empaneling the successful bidders in various trades with a view towards engaging them for Skill Development Training in the trade for which they fulfil the requirement for next 3 years in Dhalai District.
