Ludhiana : Rockman Skill Development Centre (RSDC), Ludhiana held a convocation ceremony for the first batch of students on Wednesday. During convocation ceremony, certificates to mark the successful completion of the training were given to students by Suman Kant Munjal, chairman and Managing Director of Rockman Industries. The certification has been provided by Sector Skill Councils, which falls under the Government of India’s National Skill Certification and Monetary Reward Scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, Munjal said,”All students have been employed in engineering industries in Ludhiana and other parts of Punjab after completing courses in industrial training, basic computer literacy and soft skills at this centre.RSDC a non-profit institute which aims at boosting employment opportunities through skill training” He also added,”Since its inception, 400 students have been trained in industrial vocations, soft skills and basic computer literacy at RSDC. These trainings include CNC Operator, Fitter, Electrician and Welder. The students have become industry-ready and have employment opportunities in the engineering and manufacturing units in Punjab”.
