Indo-American Friends Group to opens skill development centre in Indore

Indore : Indo-American Friends Group, a business organization aiming to promote trade and business ties between the two countries, has decided to open a skill development centre in the city. This will be the first of its kind in the state. The centre would help in improving skill of people and make them employable in the industries.

India and US headquartered group is opening the centre here in the city inspiring Skill India Vision. To open the centre in the city, the group and leading industries body Foundation of Industries inked a Memorandum of Understanding here at the office of Foundation on Saturday.

In presence of Group’s national chairman Dr Ajay Prakash Mishra and Industries Foundation Chairman Manohar Zurani, Group’s CEO Dr Jaya Shrivastava and Vinay Kalani, Chairman of Skill Development Centre committee of Industries Foundation signed the MOU.

As per the MOU, the centre would be opened its premises of at Pologround and will arrange for approval of Industries Foundation skill development center. It will also provide and help in all technical & procedural formalities and provide master trainers, who will train another set of master trainers here, who will subsequently give training to local aspirants.

While Industries Foundation will establish skill development center & cooperation center at its premises. It works for enhancing technical skill for Youths to increase productivity to enable for successful carrier in various industries. It would work towards improving livelihood by training in area of Indore & other regions through skill development.

Later, talking to this correspondent Dr Mishra said that the group’s is adding Industries Foundation as new skill development and training center in Indore and major partner in skill development for working together for socio-economic upliftment through skill India development programme. “We have entered into an agreement and signed this MoU to work together and to achieve the goal of adding employable skill in people.

Industries Foundation will be Indo American Friends Group master franchise for skill development center of Indo-American Friends group & will look after our other skill development center & around 200 KM of Indore.

Vinay Kalani, Chairman Skill Development Centre committee of Industries Foundation said that very soon the centre would get its shape here and would start working. “We do want to enhance self employment opportunity by empowering youth through imparting required skill to engage them effectively in the region.”

At MOU signing ceremony among prominent industries OP Dhoot, president Association of Industries of Madhya Predesh, its past presidents Hemant Mehtani and Ashok Jaiswal, MSME Development Institute Director VP Sharma, Ashish Adhikari, General Manager, District Industrial Centre, Industrialist Sanjay Patwardhan and Dr Jaya Shrivastava, CEO Indo-American Friends’ Group New Delhi were present.
