Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) department to organize fair on ‘Women specific Skills’

Jaipur : The Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Department is planning a SEE fair targeting women, specifically which will have employers and training partners dealing with women-related trades.

This will be another step towards reaching out to different untapped sections of the society and linking them with the Skill Rajasthan Mission.

In a review meeting of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Department, Jaswant Singh Yadav, minister, Department of Skills, Employment and Entrepreneurship on Monday said, “We have taken up a lot of initiatives especially to upscale the skilling system of the state and we are planning many more such initiatives in the near future too”.

The budget allocated under the Akshat Yojana regarding the unemployment allowance has already been made effective. Also the Bharatiya Skill Development University, Jaipur, is soon to commence its operations with its first batch starting from July 1, 2017.

In the meeting, the current status of the ongoing projects was shared and the future plans were discussed.
