Indian Plumbing Skill Council (IPSC) signed MoU with Skipper, will prepare 10,000 skilled plumbers

Kolkata : Indian Plumbing Skill Council (IPSC), an industry body responsible for creating skill development ecosystem for plumbing sector signed memorandum of understanding with Kolkata-based Skipper Ltd for training more than 10,000 youths with both urban and rural in plumbing skills.

In this association Skipper Pipes will fund IPSC to train youths with modern day plumbing skill sets so that they can adapt plumbing as their profession and earn their livelihood, the company said in a statement here. The youth will be trained on the National Occupational Standards laid as per the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) designed by the skill council as per the NSDC guidelines.
