Kishtwar : Dulhasti Power Station has been carrying out various activities in the vicinity of power station under NHPC CSR and sustainability policy for the benefit of the locals. Recently the Government of India has constantly been emphasizing in promoting skill development initiatives for sustainable employment.
Accordingly NHPC has Signed MoU with National Skill Development Corporation for providing employment oriented training to local youths in different locations of NHPC and Orion Edutech Pvt Ltd has been assigned to impart skill development training in Kishtwar area.
P K Langer, General Manager, Dulhasti Power Station, inaugurated the training centre at Kishtwar, being setup by the training partner. While inaugurating and addressing the participants and gathering he emphasized the need of skill and its development. The essentiality of employability skill and its periodic development is of primary importance for sustainability in the competitive job market. He advised the participants to gain maximum benefit of the training programme.
Harish Bulchandani, Chief Engineer (Civil), Suresh Kumar, Chief Engineer (Elect) and other senior officials of NHPC were present on this occasion.
