Government of Telangana, SAB enters into an agreement, aims to provide placement linked training under DAY-NULM

Skills Art and Beyond (SAB), one of the fastest growing entrepreneurial ventures in skill development and vocational education space recently signed an MoU with Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA), Government of Telangana. This collaboration aims to execute placement linked skill training under DAY-NULM in the state.

SAB shall be aiming to train and place more than 2000 candidates in the coming year with a target of 1000 candidates in the first phase. The training programs shall be aligned to National Skill Qualification Framework and the sectors to be focused will be Healthcare, Life Sciences, Tourism and Hospitality, Retail and IT/ITeS.

The alliance is aimed at combating the unemployment and skill gap among the youth through creating skill development opportunities for urban youth of the state.

“SAB has associated with Telangana Government for the first time and we are very hopeful to create a positive impact towards eradication of unemployment amongst urban youth. We are very grateful of MEPMA to provide us this opportunity. We are also in discussions with the state department to explore new sectors such as Aviation and create better opportunities for the youth” said Karan Girdhar, Chief Operating Officer, SAB.
