Chhattisgarh CM inaugurated Deen Dayal Labor Support Centre to skill labour and women

Chhattsigarh : Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Raman Singh said that with the launch of a programme for the welfare of the people involved in manual scavenging, a new leaf will be turned in the lives of the girls.

Speaking at inauguration of the Deen Dayal Labor Support Centre, Singh said, “I was preparing for the plans that the skill development centre of the labor department for the upliftment of the skills of the labourers. We are sitting here to worry about the poor and for the training of daughters.”

He added that the aim of a Skill-developing centre is to make sure that the people get a certain amount of training that will help them live a sustainable life.

Singh noted that the programme aims to reach 7000 laborers across 27 districts in Chhattisgarh. The government has also registered 21 lakh workers from the organized and the unorganized sectors.

He also said that the programme includes the marriage and education of the girls. The centre will also provide computer training and provide scholarship for the schooling of the children. He added that the people from the Krishna Department are planning to rope in seven different NGOs for this programme.
