Madhya Pradesh to engage German experts to impart international standard vocational training for skill development

Bhopal : Students of Madhya Pradesh will be given international level vocational training with the support of Germany. Minister of State for Technical Education and Skill Development (Independent Charge), School Education and Labour Shri Deepak Joshi said this during his meeting with Project Director of GIZ Germany in India Shri Johannes Strittmatter.

Shri Joshi said that Germany is the world’s biggest exporter on the basis of skilled man power. He said that state’s children will be imparted training through Germany so that they acquire skillfullness of international standards. Shri Joshi told that India has established friendly ties with Germany since the time of freedom struggle.

Shri Strittmatter told that G.I.Z. company is working in total 130 countries of the world. In India it is working in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Rajasthan in the field of skill development. This company is affiliated with German government. He said that the machines are the same in all the places but only skilled man power know how to use it in the best way. It may be noted here that CRISP in Bhopal had also been running with the support of Germany.

DFID Chief Shri Gavin McGillivray meets MoS Shri Joshi

Britain Minister Councillor Department For International Development (DFID) Shri Gavin McGillivray met Minister of State for Technical Education Shri Joshi. DFID is working with Madhya Pradesh State Skill Development Mission for the last three years. Shri Joshi said that there is more need for skill development in sectors including Manufacturing, Agriculture, Solar Energy, Automobile and Tourism in the state. He said that work should be done in these sectors also apart from the sectors on priority.

Director Skill Development Sanjiv Singh, CRISP CEO Shri Mukesh Sharma and other officers were also present during the meeting.
