Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 11 rural skill development institutes across the country

Muzaffarnagar : Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) in Muzaffarnagar on Wednesday on the occasion of the birth anniversary of activist Nana Deshmukh.

Modi inaugurated 11 such institutes across the country in an online address and one of them was in Morna Block, Muzaffarnagar. The institutes aim to expand opportunities for the village youth, who migrate to cities in search of jobs. In his address, Modi said his target was to develop the lives of people in the countryside.

The institutes will train youths in animal farming, pickle production and also computers. Speaking at the programme, district magistrate Anikt Kumar Agarwal said, “This institute will provide all kinds of training for skill developments. It will also provide campus placements. Besides, loans will also be provided to those who want to set up businesses.”

RSETIs will also teach farmers about scientific methods of farming. BJP MP from Bijnor and MLA Awtar Bhadan was present at the program along with others leaders of the party.
