Commenting on this initiative, Keshav Bansal, Director, Intex Technologies said, “Taking a step ahead, from Make in India, we are now stepping into Startup India by skilling youth to become entrepreneurs and take the leap from being job seekers to job creators. Intex has launched its Entrepreneur Development Center here and are happy to partner with LIFE to not only promote livelihood creation but also to drive local area development through enterprise initiatives.”

LIFE will first provide the required skills, training and certification over a period of two months and then help them setup their own enterprise in the form of a small optical outlet. The youth being trained and certified as entrepreneurs, will walk the entrepreneurship road within three months of certification.

According to Minu Thommen, Executive Director, LIFE, “We will be continuously scouting for businesses, products and services for our entrepreneurs, whereby they can stay in their communities and earn a sustainable livelihood. Thanks to Intex Technologies for making this dream come true. I look forward to a wonderful and mutually enriching partnership with Intex.”
