GADVASU to organize Free Skill training program with 1500 stipend for Scheduled Caste youth

Hoshiarpur : For promoting goat farming in Kandi area, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana, will organize a two-month skill training programme for goat farmers,belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), from January 1, at Regional Research and Training Centre (RRTC), Talwara, Hoshiarpur.

RRTC Director Rakesh Sharma said the course fee would be borne by the National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC), Delhi. A stipend of Rs 1,500 per month will be provided to selected candidates.

Interviews for selection of candidates will be held on December 27 at 11 am at the RRTC.
