Expression of Interest invited for empanelment of skill training partners under Sagarmala project

Visakhapatnam : In order to provide skilling for the coastal communities, thereby DDUGKY is preparing them to take advantage of the job opportunities that are expected to come up in the maritime sector following port led development under Sagarmala. The primary goal of the Skills and Livelihoods in Sagarmala is to meet the exact skill needs of industries in the port and maritime sector and provide the coastal communities right skills for better opportunities emanating from the large scale impact of Sagarmala projects. It is expected that the close involvement of the coastal communities in Sagarmala will make them contributors in the economic development and will ensure inclusive growth of the coastal districts of the country. The Sagarmala DDU-GKY convergence programme is to be implemented in East Godavari and Visakhapatnam districts of Andhra Pradesh.

Society for Employment Generation & Enterprise Development in Andhra Pradesh (SEEDAP) through its EOI No. SEEDAP/SAGARMALA/DDUGKY/131/2522/EOI/2018 intends to take up proposal from the Project Implementing Agencies registered with Ministry of Rural Development (PIAs with valid PRN No.) for implementation of Sagarmala- DDU-GKY in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

Interested training partners should submit the proposal as per format available athttp://www.ruralskills.in (MRIGS) and post online submission, submit print out of online system generated hard copy of the same proposal and all relevant annexures as mentioned in the section VI of EoI document.

Guidelines and notifications issued time to time by Govt. of India/ Govt. of AP/SEEDAP shall be applicable for the project sanction. Qualitative Appraisal conducted for a Project application by a PIA applicant in other states under the DDU-GKY/Roshni/Himayat/Sagarmala, may or may not need to undergo Qualitative Appraisal again in Andhra Pradesh for the trades (mentioned in Annexure 1) matching with earlier appraised proposals.

Application Fee: Agencies have to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) in favour ‘CEO, SEEDAP’ Syndicate Bank Account Number 33412010031330 , IFSC Code : SYMB0003341 ; Syndicate Branch, Backinghmpet branch through NEFT/RTGS. Proposals that are not accompanied by the Proposal Application Fee shall be rejected by SEEDAP.

The Applicant PIA qualifying the initial screening as per notification No. 20/2017 of MoRD needs to deposit non-refundable appraisal fee as applicable in favour ofNIRD/Agency designated by GoAP/SEEDAP for qualitative appraisal.

Hard copy of the detailed system generated online proposal for undertaking the project along with application fee details and relevant annexures is to be sent (within the online proposal submission deadline) to the CEO, Society for Employment Generation & Enterprise Development in A.P. (SEEDAP),#2nd Floor, NTR Administrative Block, Pandit Nehru Bus Stand,Vijayawada, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh State – 520001.

The envelope containing the proposal should be clearly titled as “Proposal for the empanelment of Training Partners to undertake the project underPhase II of Sagarmala DDU GKY convergence programme in Andhra Pradesh”
