Skill training to be provided to all registered labourers in Haryana to improve efficiency : L&E Minister

Chandigarh : Haryana Minister of State for Labour and Employment Nayab Singh Saini said that skill training would be provided to all registered labourers so as to improve efficiency in their respective trades.

Initially labourers of eight districts would be imparted training in seven trades in the first phase, the Minister said while presiding over a review meeting of the department here today. He said that for this, expression of interest would soon be invited.

He said that the labourers would be imparted practical training mainly in short term courses of masonry, bar bidding, plumbing and sanitation, electrical house wiring, floor and tile laying, painting and decorating, carpeting and false ceiling. Besides registered labourers, their families would also get training.
