Position:Â Operation Manager
Location:Â Rural Karnataka, Bangalore
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification:Â Educational qualification in MSW/Social Science/Humanities
Experience:Â
— Minimum 8 years of experience with background in managing NGO operations
—Â Prior experience in the NGO sector would be an added advantage
Skills required:
— Language skills – Kannada and English
— Passion to self-learn and pick up any new ideas in a fast paced social-startup environment
— Ability to work independently, take ownership of activities and drive to completion
Roles and Responsibilities:
— Manage the activities of the training team that works on the field
— Schedule the training calendar of the team
— Ensure smooth functioning of the trainings as per the schedules
— Make regular field visits to the villages where trainings are held
— Engage with partner NGOs to reach out and conduct training programmes for rural women
— Evaluate the effectiveness of the training programmes and proactively take corrective measures
— Coordinate the post-training impact assessment surveys
— Evaluate the performance of the training and delivery team and support in capability building
— Assist the Operations Head in planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the programmes
— Work with the HR team to get the right people on the ground
— Monitor the operating cost
Remuneration:Â Rs 3.5 to 4 lacs per annum depending upon experience

We drive in a classroom-on-wheels to villages and teach financial skills through activities, role-play, games and storytelling. We’ve trained nearly 12,000 women in 135 villages helping them move away from private money lenders, become entrepreneurs and expand their existing businesses. We are at a phase where we have proven that our model is impacting lives. We now want to intensify and scale up our activities so that we can help in changing many more lives. Towards this, we need a dynamic Operations Manager who can lead our on-field activities.
