Adani group launched Skill Development Centre in Ahmedabad under ideology “Saksham”


Ahmedabad : Adani Group under its Skill Development ideology “SAKSHAM”, launched its new skill development center in Ahmedabad on 24th June 2017. The centre is located in New-Wadaj Area with Training Capacity of around 1380 candidates per year. The centre aims to provide Skill Development Training to Indian Youth between age group of 18 to 35 and make them Employable.

The Centre offers Short-Term Skill Development programs of various fields; Beautification, Retail & Sales Management, Electrician, General Duty Assistant (Nursing Assistant), GAS Technician (PNG Connections), etc… All courses to include basic computing Skills, Soft Skills and Entrepreneurship Skills.

Aiming to make Indian Youth Skilled and Employable, ASDC is part of Skill India Mission and has partnered with NSDC to provide Government approved Certification to all trained candidates.

This centre will offer Placement Assistant for all courses. Support to link with Micro-Finance also will be provided to Entrepreneurship Aspirants.

The centre is well-equipped with Tools and Technologies to provide Advanced Level Trainings which will make candidates Confident, Employable and Self-Sustainable.

It is to note that Adani Skill Development Centre is aiming to train 3,00,000 Youth by 2022 and they have signed MoU with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) for the same. Under “SAKSHAM” ideology, company is currently offering various Skill Development courses in Mundra-Gujarat, Tiroda-Maharashtra, Vizhinjam-Kerala and plans to launch more skill development centres in Khokhara-Ahmedabad-Gujarat, Bhuj-Gujarat, Surat-Gujarat, Surguja-Chhattisgarh, Indore-Madhya Pradesh, Ujjain-Madhya Pradesh & Bhopal-Madhya Pradesh.

Shri Surendrabhai Patel (Ex-MP, Rajyasabha), Dr. Kiritbhai Solanki (MP, Ahmedabad-West, Loksabha) and Dr. (Mrs.) Pritiben G. Adani (Chairperson, Adani Foundation) graced the occasion of Launching the Centre by their presence.
