Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Graduate in business management / rural management / rural development / social work
Experience: 5 years of multidisciplinary experience in promoting training, certification and placement for communities and youth from rural Bihar.

— Ability to facilitate field teams
— Ability to analyze data and maintain updated information.
— Effective verbal communication skills to liaise with public and private companies and government departments.
— Ability to facilitate teams to set targets and prepare and execute plans to deliver output and results on-time.
— Strong execution and management abilities

Roles and Responsibilities:
> Providing thematic and technical support to the Skill development team at AKRSP(I), Bihar by ensuring the following:
— To proactively approach and establish linkages for placement of candidates being trained by Yuva Junction.
— To implement market research / PR for understanding the supply and demand gaps in the job market.
— To undertake studies to identify entrepreneurship opportunities.
— To develop entrepreneurship development courses for various segments.
— Understand the recruitment strategies of various companies related to different trades which Yuva Junction offers, keeping track of various industry events and participate in them to develop a network for obtaining information regarding suitable vacancies/placement opportunities.
— Understanding the rural economy and developing strategies for offering training and placement in various trades.
— Developing training courses and training modules for different trades.
— Establishing linkages / affiliations / accreditation for certification of various courses.
— To establish tie-ups with various companies for industrial exposure of the students through industrial visits, guest lecture and placements for on-the-job training.
— Establish linkages with schemes of Central Government and Government of Bihar.
— Developing markets for goods produced by women groups.
— Building capacities of field teams and facilitating field teams to develop and achieve plans.
— MIS Management and Documentation
— Donor Report Preparation
— Proposal Writing and liaising for grant approval and sanction.

Aga Khan Rural Support Programme – India (A programme of the Aga Khan Development Network) is a non-denominational, non-political, non-government organization working for the development of rural areas in Gujarat since 1984.

To provide impetus to its Skill Development initiatives, AKRSP(I) is seeking a committed and visionary placement specialist with multi-disciplinary experience in community mobilization; developing training courses and obtaining certification/accreditation/affiliation for these courses, and placement of trained candidates. The ideal candidate would be a professional with and a commitment and passion to work in rural Bihar, and a keen ability to train a field team in coordination with Block Managers. Thus, coordination and team work would be critical skills which the ideal candidate would be expected to possess.
