About My Code:
Over the last year, Quest has developed a curriculum and approach that introduces students in schools to computer science and programming. Over the past 8 months, Quest, with support from AMD has designed a curricular experience for students in Class 9 to introduce them to the concept of computer science and programming through the open source game and story design platform Scratch.

Microsoft as part of its revised YouthSpark agenda for 2016 is looking to increase youth access to computer science education and I.T literacy skills by building capacity of nonprofits to offer such training to underserved youth.

Quest has designed approximately 25 hours of computer-based and classroom activities for students and has successfully concluded a pilot project impacting 400 students in schools in Bangalore and Hyderabad.

The My Code project at Quest will grow further in 2016-17 with Microsoft and AMD on board to extend computer science and programming concepts to students in schools and youth in vocational training contexts. QUEST Alliance is seeking a young and dynamic person to introduce the basics of coding in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu.

We are looking for someone who is interested in working with young students (with age group 16-25), integrating technology with learning and has some basic Knowledge/Interest in coding and programming.

Through this program, students will make games and stories using a technology based open source platform called Scratch developed by MIT Media Lab.

Roles and Responsibilities:
— Conducting trainings
— Collecting, documenting & sharing feedback about the classes
