Position: Project Cordinator

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Candidate should possess a degree, preferably in English

Experience: At least one year experience in teaching English

Skills required: 
— Should be proficient in English
— Should be proficient in Hindi/Telugu
— Should have good knowledge of computers

The Project Coordinator provides support to the school through teaching, assessment, planning and preparing and conducting the planned activities and coordination with the school HMs to implement the project. The job requires working closely with the HM, teachers and students to provide access to facilities and materials that enable participants to learn at their own pace.

Key Activities:
— To deliver English lessons in the schools according to the agreed plan, schedule and methodology.
— To plan prepare and conduct activities to improve students’ proficiency in English
— To conduct periodic assessments of the proficiency levels of students in project schools
— To maintain a record of students’ attendance and academic achievements in the Child Profile software on a regular basis
— To conduct the planned activities in the school as per the yearly plan/monthly/weekly plans and to support and guide the teaching staff as per the project plan
— To submit reports regularly to the CfBT Project Manager in the agreed templates

Roles and Responsibilities: 
— The project coordinator will be responsible for the effective implementation of project in doing the following tasks:
— To report to the schools on time as per agreed schedule and take up the assigned duties
— To maintain a good rapport with the HM, teachers, students and the Project team
— Plan and prepare for lessons (PIE – Proficiency in English) and make effective use of the available resource
— Plan and prepare activities as per the year plan
— Coordinate with the school and the project manager for the smooth completion of the activities
— To maintain records of the activities done in each school and send a weekly report in the suggested format to the project manager
— Maintain Child Profile and update it on a regular basiS
— To  guide and support  the English language teachers
— To ensure optimum utilization of teaching learning material including library
— To organise school programs and competitions including English day celebration
— To participate in  project review meetings and strictly adhere to the project timelines as outlined in the work-plan
— To get familiar with the reporting tools, time sheets and report the same in the agreed template to the CfBT Project Manager
— To regularly submit the planned reports and any other relevant project information to the CfBT Project Manager.
— To coordinate the Funder’s Employee engagement activities effectively as per schedule
— To assist in assessing the students’ performance on a regular basis including baseline and final assessments
— To assist in administering the assessments and preparation of reports
