Position:Â Project Manager
Purpose:Â To support in the development of a training module for SMCs in Bihar and train master trainers to deliver the training
Reporting to: Executive Director, CfBT, Hyderabad
Location: Patna, Bihar
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification and Experience: Degree in Business Administration and have extensive experience in working in Bihar, preferably in the Education context.

Job Overview: The Project Manager is responsible for overall coordination, planning and logistics, till the training of the master trainers is complete. He/She provides support to the technical support consultants on smooth functioning of the project and coordinates with the project funder and the CfBT Executive Director to ensure communication of project activities and outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
— Coordinate between CfBT and SCERT by making physical visits to the SCERT office
— Organize the logistics for the visits of the Technical Support Consultants
— Make visits to Government Primary Schools in Bihar and gather information about the functioning of the SMCs and the extent of involvement of the parent community in the governance of the school.
— Liaise with SCERT on the scheduling of the workshop for content development and the training of the Master Trainers
— Participate in the workshop organized by SCERT to develop the module for training of the SMC members
— Support the technical support consultants on the development of the module, primarily with ensuring the Hindi is accurate and representative of the way the language is spoken in Bihar
— Lead on the liaison for obtaining feedback from SCERT on the module and provide this information to the Technical Support Consultants for incorporating into the module.
— Support in the selection of Master Trainers who will be trained on the SMC module
— Participate in the training of the Master Trainers on the module
— Collect feedback from the master trainers on the module
— Coordinate the printing of the modules and supply to the Master Trainers
— Liaise with the audio video consultant on the brief provided by the Technical Support consultants and ensure that these are translated accurately into the development of the audio video materials
