Position: Program Manager

Location: Gurgaon, Haryana

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Graduation in Social Work/Education/Child Development or in allied fields of social sciences from a recognized university. Not mandatory for candidates with substantial working experience in the field.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience of working in the development sector relating to children, education and community engagement. Experience in an NGO on implementing social projects and in managerial capacity is preferable

Skills required: Dynamic, creative and committed person, with an aptitude for multi-tasking and a strong desire to learn. To succeed in this role, you will need a high level of enthusiasm and energy and an ability to work 45-50 hour weeks. Prior relevant experience is not an essential pre-requisite. However, an ability and willingness to learn is MUST.

Job Overview: Project Manager is to nurture its CROP (Community Reach Out Program) and to create, plan and execute fundraising programs, activities and opportunities for network-building, strategic communication, public relation, stakeholder keeping in line with the ethos of Edha Foundation.

Roles and Responsibilities:
— Communication, relation building, and advocacy with the community at large in relation to the school and other educational programmes of EEF.
— Fundraising programs, network building with other partner NGOs and others working in similar domain.
— Tracking, gathering relevant information, and maintaining regular contact and counseling with the families directly linked to EEF programmes.
— Manage administrative needs of the school and community outreach programs.
— Manage the office system needs of the school.
— Procure and arrange for the materials needed by the school (requisition).
— To address any maintenance needs for infrastructure and equipments at the school.
— Manage programmatic, logistics and financial records of all educational programmes.
— Manage filing systems, documentation and maintain databases as required.
— To create awareness about EEF programmes in educational and development communities.
— Liaison with state education officials and school authorities in the area to further the programme objectives of EEF.
— Establishing local contact and creating platform for collaborative linkages with other local agencies, government and non-government, working in the field of education and development.
— Other tasks as delegated by the Director, Education.

Remuneration: Salary package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

About Edha Education Foundation:

Edha School is based on alternative pedagogic practices that provide education by addressing the holistic developmental needs of each child. The children at the school are primarily from the Silokhera village community, belonging to socio-economically underprivileged families.

Besides the school, the foundation would be running certain community
outreach programs, relating to early childhood education, in terms of advocacy and capacity building.
