FICCI invites applications for the post of Assistant Director – Apprentinceship

Organization: Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Position: Assistant Director – Apprenticeship

Location: New Delhi

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: MBA with HR or any applied course
Experience: Minimum 4 years of working experience with industry and working knowledge of skill development ecosystem. Experience of working in any government department/industry association is preferable

Skills required: 
— Understanding of MES trades and QPs
— Understanding of HR systems like payroll, ESIC and various employee and worker related Acts.
— Working knowledge of development of Curriculum

Other requirements:
— Industry Partnership and mobilizing industry linkages
— Experience of designing industry outreach programs and communication strategy
— Develop program strategy for engaging the establishments.
— Programme Management
— Research attitude with excellent writing and oral capability in English
— Identify relevant policy and institutional issues in the broader skilling eco-system that need to be leveraged.
— Other duties confirming to the scope and requirements as defined above.

Roles and Responsibilities:
> Industry Partnerships
— Enhance industry participation in Apprenticeship Training Scheme

> Engagement with RDATs
— Coordination and advisory for policy changes, stay updated on amendments in the Act, R&R, for new projects to encourage apprenticeship training

> Engagement with State Directorates and State Apprenticeship Advisors
— Improve facilitation to industry in states, implementation of pilot projects at state level on Apprenticeship
— Creating business case for partnership

> Engagement with International agencies like ILO, UNDP etc.
— In order to make bilateral arrangements for promotion of apprenticeship, design and implement new pilots, arrange roundtable discussions etc.

> Engagement with FICCI Members
— In order to enhance FICCI members participation in Apprenticeship Training
