Position: Mining Specialist Trainers
1. Plant Operations – Mining Specialist Trainer
(background experience required as plant operator, raw mill operator, wet plant operator etc)
2. Skilled Labour – Mining Specialist Trainer
(background experience required as Fitter, Turner, Welder, Mechanical Tech, Trade Assistant etc)
3. Mining Administration – Mining Specialist Trainer
(background experience required as warehousing, storeperson, mining admin etc)
4. Laboratory – Mining Specialist Trainer
(background experience required as Lab Technician, Ore Definition technician, field technician etc)

Location: Kurnool

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 5+ years in mining industry in one of the following specializations:  Plant Operations / Trade & Labour / Laboratory / Administration

Skills required:
— Fluency in Hindi and Professional English
— Confidence to deliver training in front of a class
— Organized and structured to deliver training as per the lesson plans
— Currently living in Kurnool District or available to relocate immediately
— Mining supervisory/ foreman/ superintendent experience is highly desirable (desirable)
— Prior experience in skills training is highly desirable (desirable)

The Mining Specialist Trainers are responsible primarily for the delivery of live training and development of our Mining students in India, delivering training content developed in Australia.

Using their Mining industry experience, they deliver specialist Mining training with real life examples from their working background from the areas of Plant Operations, Mining Trades/Labour, Laboratory or Mining Administration and warehousing. They provide counseling; motivation and coaching for potential students prior the course start date, and continue to provide student support throughout the course.

Roles and Responsibilities:
> Technical
— Maintain currency of technical proficiency for mining industry roles and responsibilities in subject area
— Provide clear, correct and safe instruction to students relating to mining industry skills programs
— Exercises sound judgment, foresight and planning with respect to safe delivery of training to students
— Maintain Industry Currency through participation in a minimum of 12 days per annum release to Industry as approved by the Operations Manager.

> Training
Ensure students reach competency within the nominated timeframe:
— Deliver training using session plans according to FIR training delivery models.
— Review and monitor training programs and provide inputs on program improvements.
— Develop support strategies to facilitate the implementation of programs and encourage retention of students and their completion of course objectives.
— Provide support and counseling guidance to students before, during and after the course.

> Assessment
Review students performance and take action to ensure objectives are met within the required timeframe:
— Assess participants using the appropriate assessment tools provided.
— Make assessment decisions according to the set criteria.
— Provide support to students to facilitate competency according to set program standards.
— Manage assessment case load ensuring assessments are conducted at appropriate times.

> Administration
Ensure administrative processes are completed to the required standard:
— Comply with FIR guidelines and procedures at all times in a timely and accurate manner.
— Meet government requirements for reporting of student data for programs.
— Use of IT systems as directed and in accordance with FIR procedures.
— Student Admissions assisting Ops Manager with attending to the student telephone inquiry, follow up calls, registration and enrollments.
— Promoting FIR and mobilizing students prior to batch commencement.

> Other
— Maintain regular contact with FIR by checking and replying to emails and all messages each working day.
— Participate in internal audits as directed.
— Attend organized meetings as requested.
— Reporting of training statistics and required reporting as per contracts.

Remuneration: INR 3,00,000 – 4,75,000 P.A. Salary + potential bonus opportunity of 20% salary + extensive international standard training opportunities
