Position: Senior Manager – Training and NRM Projects

Location: Kundapur, Udupi District, Karnataka

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Postgraduate/ graduate in science subject preferably Natural Science
Experience: Minimum 2-3 Years of experience in development organization preferably working with community and Networking NGOs.

Skills required:
— Candidates from Karnataka with local language will be preferred.
— Good command over English language
— Excellent networking and interpersonal skills,
— Excellent planning, facilitation and presentation skills.
— Excellent problem solving and leadership skills
— Fluency in English and Kannada (spoken and written)
— Proven diplomacy and negotiation skills
— Communication Skills, Presentation and Documentation Skills.
— Experience in managing and implementing community-based health programs.
— Understanding and hands on experience of various project management tools.
— Strong communicator, both verbally and in writing.
— Strong Relationship Management skills across levels with different organizations.
— High degree of reliability and self-motivation with willing to work under challenging situation.
— Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Internet, and Powerpoint presentation etc.

Roles and Responsibilities:

> Responsible for overall implementation of NRM Projects.( Sea turtle. Environment Education, Eco-Club, Sustainable Agriculture and Tent school) .
— Coordinate of all NRM Projects and provide guidance/support to the team for implementation, monitoring and evaluation as per plan.
— Prepare annual programmatic and financial plan and get approval from the management.
— Periodic review and reporting to the management as per MIS.
— Work closely with the community/line departments/NGOs and build rapport for successful implementation.
— Conduct cross-monitoring of other FSL projects for cross learning.
— Provide regular technical input/guidance to the HBP team and build their capacity in planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
— Verification of bills and vouchers and submit to the concerned.
— Maintain high standards in the working environment of FSL premises.
— Conduct periodic impact study of Home Based Projects.
— Conduct periodic staff appraisal and training need assessment of HBP team.
— Develop new proposal for replication and expansion of home-based projects in other operational areas of Long Term Volunteer program.
— Ensure documentation of project learning/ develop blog articles/ case studies of Home Based Projects.
— Compile and submit data/information on Home Based Projects for annual report.

> Roles & Responsibilities at Training Center.
— Overall in charge of maintenance and Management of training center.
— Developing different modules of training program based on the demand.
— Developing training material and schedule for the Module.
— Developing excellent liaison with all development organization.
— Development of Strategic plan of action for the sustainability of the center.
— Periodic review of the training calendar and identification of new training module.
— Review and reporting of center activities.
— Periodic training need assessment of staff and organizing the training both at In-house and outside.

Remuneration: 20000-25000(Negotiable based on experience and qualification)
