Position: Spoken English Trainer

Location: Sunkadakatte, Bangalore, Karnataka

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Gender: Female
 25-40 years old
Educational Qualification: BA in English Literature from a recognized university or institution or a relevant graduate degree required
Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of English teaching or training experience with adults (above 16 years)

— Innovative, dynamic, open to learning and exploring
— Systematic and meticulous
— Passionate about doing good and excited about working for an NGO in vocational space
— Passionate about teaching or training women participants and passion towards technology
— Open to learning and adopting innovative teaching methodology
— Having good communications skills
— Language proficient in English. Should know written and spoken Kannada.

Job Overview: English Trainer is to train the women participants between the age group of 16 to 45 years. The person would be someone who holds adult learning close to their heart thereby working towards enabling the participants to gain the competencies of reading, speaking, writing and listening in English.

Roles and Responsibilities:
— Develop the specific syllabus with the help of ‘Manager-vocational programs’ for communicative English
— Facilitate both theory and practical sessions with the students on a daily basis – 3 to 4 batches
— Conduct energizer activities, group interactions, role plays to make interactive sessions
— Maintain the attendance track of students in each batch
— Prepare for the sessions well in advance and come up with the notes on daily basis
— Assess of student performance on a regular basis in order to enhance the learning ability
— Adopt the new syllabus which is tested and successfully implemented by other agencies or organizations
— Prepare students to work towards competitions for the project day (an internal competition held within the student)
— Prepare question papers for final exams and evaluate the papers for final results
— Coordinate with other teachers with in the course and other courses
— Carry out additional assignments as required by the organization

Remuneration: Rs. 15 to 18 K per month (depending up on candidate’s academic qualification and experience)
