Position: Director Capacity Building

Location: Delhi

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Masters in Social Sciences, HR, Psychology or relevant degree
Experience: 
— Experienced learning and development specialist with 15 -18 years of work experience with at least 5 years in a leadership/senior management position
— Experience in designing, planning and implementing high-quality training programs
— Experience of successfully managing the capacity building / learning function in the development sector

Skills required:
— Strategic leadership skills with drive for results
— Outstanding project management, team management and organizational skills
— Strong skills of effectively working with diverse and multidisciplinary stakeholders
— Familiarity of working environment and professional standards of high-grade nonprofit organizations
— Excellent communication skills

As a key member of the management team, the Director Capacity Building position will assume a strategic role in the organization and will provide leadership to the capacity building function. The position will build a team of high-quality trainers, best in class capacity building programs and techniques, with the latest technology available.

Roles and Responsibilities:
— Understand the needs of the communities and objectives of the organization
— Develop the vision, strategy and goals for capacity building so as to ensure achievement of organization’s vision, mission and objectives
— Design, develop and implement the capacity building programs with a holistic approach to maximize impact, after evaluating various methodologies , technology options and alternatives available
— Plan and budget the organization’s annual training calendar based on specific needs of internal and external stakeholders
— Monitor and control the program. Ensure high-quality standards are maintained
— Monitor the impact of capacity building and identify gaps in the current vis a vis the needs
— Coordinate with internal program teams, organization partners along with national and international organizations so as to ensure best in class development and implementation
— Develop partnerships with external training institutions and trainers to evaluate and enhance various training solutions
— Stay abreast of latest global developments and best practices in training and capacity building tools and methodologies

Compensation: Compensation package will be amongst the best and will commensurate with qualification and experience.
