Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification & Experience:Â Qualifications & Experience: Postgraduate in Education or related sciences with one-two years of working on related thematic area or Bachelor in Education with four-five years of work experience in related domain. Persons without Education as key academic background can also apply if they have three to five years of experience of working on pedagogy and or curriculum development (language and sciences) in a reputed organization.
Skills required:
— Written and verbal communication in English and Hindi
— Facilitation with different groups or communities;
— Datasheets (Excel/or open office essential, SPSS desirable) and word processing (word or open office essential)
— Reports, documentation in Hindi and English
Job Overview: The Programme Officer (Education) is an important position and leads the programme in the state (CG/Gujarat).
Roles and Responsibilities:
— Operational Planning & Execution: The PO will prepare the quarterly and monthly operational plan for the project and the team and oversee its execution. S/he will prepare a robust data based monitoring plan, and ensure timeliness, cost-effectiveness, and quality in programme implementation;
— Knowledge Management: The PO need to ensure that all the processes, inputs and outputs, outcomes and key learnings of the project are continuously documented, shared and disseminated to all the stakeholders. S/he will carry out studies and research as per the needs of the project and the community.
— Reporting and Communication: The PO will be responsible for mandatory reporting as and when required by the partners and donors. S/he will prepare monthly factsheets, quarterly reports, annual reports of the project. S/he will be responsible for timely and quality of communication with all the stakeholders including partners and donors.
— Team Building: S/he will ensure that a strong thematic knowledge based (water and livelihood) team develops, and will plan and execute training and exposures for the team on the thematic area;
