Position: Project Coordinator

Location: Surendranagar Districts, Gujarat

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Masters/Bachelor’s degree in social work, gender studies or any other discipline relevant to the position
Experience: 1- 4 years of experience

Skills required:
— Conceptual understanding and writing around gender/VaW issues . Knowledge of research methods is desirable.
— Ability to plan work effectively, deliver against plans, work at pace
— Excellent written communication & documentation skills
— Team and collaboration focused
— Sound interpersonal & relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders & partners involved in the project.
— Willingness to travel.

About Job: The project looks at rural women’s safety in public spaces and its impact on their lives. This is a three-year duration intervention research project being implemented by International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) and SWATI . The objective is to develop and validate an innovative evidence-informed model, which fosters freedom from violence and safety for women and girls in public spaces in rural Gujarat, India. The project will use gender integrated strategies and leverage ICT to empower women and girls to demand and lead change, while engaging young men as partners. The project will concurrently build capacities of GPs, catalyzing them to respond to SVAWG, thereby positioning public safety for women and girls as a critical component of rural local governance.

Remuneration: Gross – Above Four lakhs per annum( Cost to Company)
