Eligibility Requirements:

Experience: 
— At least 8-10 years of experience in a management consulting role and/or industry experience (start-up experience will be a plus).
— Extensive experience in leading and managing large scale, multi-stakeholder projects/programs.
— Demonstrated experience of leading and managing diverse, cross functional teams.

Skills required: 
— Excellent analytical and communication skills.
— Demonstrated ability to independently create and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
— Flexible to travel as and when required

Position Description:
The Project Manager will be responsible for end to end delivery of the program. Specific tasks include:
>> Program set up and selection of entrepreneurs
— Scoping out the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Bangalore and establishing relationships with key stakeholders in the ecosystem (such as incubators/accelerators, start-up forums, angel networks etc.)
— Representing TNS in relevant entrepreneurship events and forums and spreading the word about the program to key influencers
— Defining an objective shortlisting criteria, providing guidance to the program team for managing the application process and shortlisting of applicants based on the defined shortlisting criteria
— Conducting in-person and/or telephonic interviews of the shortlisted applicants for final selection into the program

>> Business advisory support
— Providing strategic direction to each of the selected entrepreneurs and helping them streamline their business operations
— Providing overall oversight and guidance to the team of Business Advisors in order to ensure that all program activities are on track and program targets are met
— Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Program Description: TNS is launching a business accelerator program for women-led micro and small businesses. The program will be based in Bangalore which is the epicenter for entrepreneurship and start-up activity in India. The aspiration of the program is to provide advisory and counseling support to small women entrepreneurs and help them rapidly scale and grow their businesses into the next generation of enterprises driving economic growth of India.

The program provides a unique opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing entrepreneurship ecosystem and gain hands on experience of working in the startup hub of India i.e. Bangalore. The Project Manager will get exposure to a wide spectrum of businesses across different functional and operational aspects, and above all, an opportunity to really make a difference. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a team of 3-4 members responsible for program execution (i.e. the “Business Advisors”) and provide overall leadership, oversight, strategic direction and mentoring support to the selected entrepreneurs as well the TNS program team.
