Position: Program Officer

Location: Chandigarh/Nabha/Patiala, Chandigarh, Punjab

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Degree in Social Work/ Social Sciences from a reputed institution.
Experience: 6-10 years total experience in reputed NGOs.

Skills required: 
— A very strong understanding and experience of direct program implementation in the context of rural India.
— Excellent English writing skills is key to this role. Fluency in Punjabi is preferred.

Role and Responsibilities: 
— Responsible for providing management oversight to all programming functions within The Nabha Foundation which includes strategic planning, project planning, project monitoring, project reporting, donor servicing and proposal writing.
— Lead strategic planning of the organization and develop action plans.
— Prepare project plans for ongoing and new initiatives.
— Develop a Monitoring & Evaluation plan and implement the same.
— Liaise with project partners, funders, government agencies, consultants, etc.
— Ensure all reports are prepared and submitted in a timely manner, both internal and external as per grant agreements.
— Ensure compliance of prevailing policies and procedures.
— Identify training needs of staff and implement structured training programs.
— Lookout for funding opportunities and develop proposals for the same.
— Keep management informed about all relevant developments.
— Any other responsibilities assigned by management.

Remuneration: As per industry standards. Mobile reimbursement & medical insurance as per prevalent HR policy.
