SUMMARY:Training Session: Assistive Technology to Support Inclusive Practices
DESCRIPTION:Agenda:\nDepartment for International Development (DFID) UK\, in collaboration with Skill Council for Persons with Disability (SCPwD) is organizing a series of Training  on Assistive Technology to Support Inclusive Practices. \nObjective:\nThe focus of these trainings will be on orientation and sensitization of Trainers on disabilities and the assistive technologies for enhanced quality of training. \nTopics to be covered:\nThe training covers intellectual\, physical\, sensory and specific learning disabilities along with specific technologies supporting learners in their living\, learning or work. These trainings will impart trainers\, the skills to assess the needs of learners with different disabilities\, make informed judgments about the use and support of general assistive technology. They will be able to support the learners on the selection and usage of suitable tools in overcoming their difficulties.
