About ACCESS:

Samuel Foundation Charitable India Trust is an Indian Chapter of Hedwig and Robert Samuel Foundation, Germany, a multinational NGO. The Samuel Foundation is globally operating in Europe, Asia and Central America to impart quality education and professional training to children and youth of underprivileged section of society
Although the Foundation in India is judicially independent, the Foundation in Germany as the Founder Trust has a strong influence on its working. All training programmes and quality standards are planned and executed according to the guidelines of the German office and on the basis of the German model of “dual system of education”.
At Samuel Foundation worldwide, a professional training is given to those people who cannot afford it on their own. They get an opportunity at Samuel Foundation to receive a meaningful training in a relevant vocational training skill. They get their chance to find a well-paid job with perspectives afterward.
In this way, the young people break through the vicious circle of poverty and the lack of a future perspective, and they get the chance to define their own lives, with their own income, with self-respect and with participation in future economic development.
Our training system is based upon the principle of “promote and demand”: We expect the young people to show us an above-average performance and commitment during the training course. In our opinion, this is the only way that the young people will be able to prove themselves in the job market later on in their lives.
