Position: Head of projects
Location: Gurgaon
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline. Additional qualification in education, training, HR or related field, NGO management would be preferred
Experience: Minimum 7 years of work experience
Skills required:
— Keen interest in social, political and governance issues
— Passion for nation-building and social change
— Project management and execution
— Initiative and drive
— Confidence to independently liaise and network
— Facilitation/training
— Ability to inspire and mobilize stakeholders
— Ability to communicate effectively
— Collaborative, appreciative and positive approach
— Ability to travel extensively in India especially in rural areas
— Oral and written fluency in English and Hindi
This position is to lead and manage our capacity building projects in select regions in India.
Roles and Responsibilities:
— Engagement with stakeholders
— Project management: planning, execution, finance, reporting, documentation
— Managing external and internal communication
— Facilitation of capacity building programmes
— Impact evaluation

We, the People is a civil society network promoting active and responsible citizenship in India. We build capacities of citizens (especially the youth) to understand civic rights and responsibilities and participate in governance issues. We do this mainly through training facilitators on our unique Citizenship Programme curriculum. Our primary partners are schools and NGOs.
