National Institutes of Technical Teachers Training and Research (NITTTR)-Chandigarh under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India and India’s leading industry chamber FICCI through its regional office is to to hold a Round Table on Consolidation and Networking with SSCs for Skilling India
Objectives of the Event:
* To deliberate on the role of different agencies and Sector Skill Councils in Skill Development
* To take stock of national occupation standards and qualification packs evolved by different Sector Skill Councils
* To work-out mechanism of developing linkages for networking between training providers and the Sector Skill Council
* To understand the mechanism of carrying out assessment of prior learning at the level of training institution
* To foster linkages between the training providers and the major employers within the vicinity of training institution
* To formulate strategies for sustainable and integrated skill development involving different agencies and stakeholder
