Job Title: Deputy General Manager – Quality Assurance
Reporting To: VP – Quality Assurance

Job Overview: To strengthen the effectiveness of NSDC‘s programs through continuous monitoring, evaluation, and learning, while managing key stakeholders and enhancing evidence-based strategies for implementation.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a master’s in business administration/ science / related field.

Experience: 11+ years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, data analytics, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
  • In-depth understanding of government programs in the social/development sector.
  • Proficient in MS Office and advanced data analytics.
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage extensive travel and stakeholder relationships.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust data infrastructure to support continuous monitoring, evaluation, feedback, and organizational learning.
  • Implement a comprehensive monitoring framework to effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders, including Training Providers, Sector Skill Councils, and government bodies.
  • Lead capacity-building initiatives—such as trainings, workshops, and webinars—to strengthen Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) practices across the organization.
  • Conduct concurrent monitoring of government schemes to ensure compliance with guidelines and assess on-ground effectiveness.
  • Perform regular evaluations, data analysis, and reporting for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather, collate, analyze, and validate placement-related data submitted by Training Providers to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Review, plan, and coordinate the execution of Training Centre (TC) physical inspections for Market-Led programs.
  • Oversee stakeholder coordination and grievance management to ensure timely resolution and smoother program implementation.
  • Streamline M&E mechanisms to support project execution, strategic planning, and policy formulation within the organization.
  • Provide guidance on monitoring visits, data analysis, report compilation, and facilitate effective coordination between business teams and the MEL function.
