Job Title: Vice President (VP), NSDC International Policy, Collaboration & Advocacy
Reporting to: CEO – NSDC International

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Bachelor’s in business or relevant domains is required   Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred.

Experience: Minimum 15-20 years of experience in strategy, management consulting or, advisory, experience in International Development Organization  

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong grounding in public policy, international relations, and effective stakeholder management
  • Experience in policy advocacy, government engagement, consulting or strategic partnerships
  • Ability to translate policy insights into actionable strategies
  • Strong communication skills and comfort representing the organization in high-level settings
  • Proven track record in managing complex, multi-stakeholder programmes and experience with Multilateral/ International development organization

Job Overview:

The Vice President leads NSDC’s international policy agenda and shapes the organisation’s global engagement strategy. The role drives collaboration with governments, multilaterals, and industry bodies to expand NSDC’s footprint and unlock new opportunities. The position calls for a mix of policy insight, strategic judgement and the ability to build international relationships

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop NSDC’s international policy roadmap and advise leadership on emerging global trends in skills, mobility, workforce development and education
  • Lead advocacy with partner governments, multilaterals, industry associations and global companies to strengthen India-linked skilling and talent pathways
  • Build and manage high-value international collaborations, including government-to-government partnerships, foreign training alliances and sector-specific initiatives
  • Guide consulting assignments with international partners and ensure projects align with NSDC’s strategic priorities.
  • Identify opportunities for global expansion, market entry and country-specific strategies that advance NSDC’s mission
  • Oversee stakeholder management across ministries, state governments, foreign missions, industry bodies and international institutions
  • Work closely with business units to align international initiatives with NSDC’s revenue strategy, impact goals and portfolio of programmes.
  • Represent NSDC in global forums, working groups and policy dialogues, and prepare thought leadership inputs for senior leadership
