Job Title: VP – Operations & Training Management
Reporting to: CEO, NSDC International
Job Overview:
The VP – Operations & Training will execute the strategy and drive operational excellence, and governance of NSDC International’s (NSDCI) global training, assessment, and deployment ecosystem.
The role is accountable for strengthening training partner networks, ensuring high-quality delivery, driving assessment credibility, and overseeing operational readiness for large-scale workforce mobility programs.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education: Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Education, Human Resource Development, or related fields.
Experience: Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Education, Human Resource Development, or related fields.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operations Leadership (Sourcing & Deployment)
- Understanding Client Requirements
- Engage with the Business Development team and clients to understand job roles, competency needs, and NSQF alignment.
- Translate employer requirements into structured sourcing and training mandates.
- Sourcing Strategy Development
- Develop multi-channel sourcing strategies using job portals, digital media, specialized databases, PMKKs, SIICs, training partners, apprenticeship portals, Rozgar Melas, special recruitment drives, and sourcing partner networks.
- Ensure sourcing meets volume, quality, and timeline expectations for domestic and international demand.
- Selection & Mobilization
- Lead and standardize the candidate selection process including screening, interview coordination, and finalization.
- Ensure end-to-end mobility processes are adhered to, including documentation, verification, and deployment protocols.
- Orientation & Departure
- Oversee pre-departure orientation and ensure seamless departure of selected candidates as per process requirements.
- Workforce Planning
- Work closely with the demand aggregation team to prepare short-, mid-, and long-term workforce planning maps.
- Align sourcing pipelines with global employer demand forecasts and strategic deployment goals.
- Understanding Client Requirements
- Strategic Oversight of Training Ecosystem
- Define and implement the training delivery strategy aligned with NSDCI’s global skilling mandate.
- Standardize training and quality benchmarks across partners and affiliated centres.
- Develop scalable, technology-enabled training models based on international market trends and competency requirements.
- Build a future-ready training infrastructure, including blended and digital models.
- Partner Management & Performance Optimization
- Lead onboarding, evaluation, and long-term engagement of training partners across sectors and geographies.
- Establish clear KPIs for delivery quality, placement outcomes, and learner performance.
- Drive capability building, continuous engagement, and accountability mechanisms in the partner ecosystem.
- Explore and operationalize revenue models and sustainable delivery frameworks.
- Leadership of Assessments
- Oversee the end-to-end assessment lifecycle across NSDCI programs.
- Collaborate with SSCs, international awarding bodies, and third-party assessment agencies.
- Strengthen digital assessment infrastructure, including remote and hybrid models.
- Use assessment analytics to improve certification quality and partner performance.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement governance, audit, and monitoring systems ensuring regulatory and operational compliance.
- Benchmark content, delivery methodologies, and assessment standards against global best practices.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives and corrective action systems across training and assessments.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with Business Development, Deployment, SIIC Operations, and International Certifications teams to ensure alignment of training and assessments with market and employer demand.
- Represent NSDCI in high-level discussions with ministries, global agencies, and certifying authorities.
- Support strategic initiatives, new program design, and global mobility pathways with operational insights.
