Position: Program Manager – Operations
Location: Gadhchiroli , Amrawati, Maharashtra
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Postgraduate/graduate degree preferably in rural management, social work, development studies or social sciences
Experience:
— Minimum 8-15 years of experience in training, governance, advocacy, liasoning and capacity building in a rural based program preferably in the field of education.
— Have extensive experience of project management & program implementation, ideally within the development sector
— Candidates those who have experience operating in rural communities, educational institutions, tribal belts, naxal affected areas will be preferred
Skills required:
— Willingness to travel as required at the state/district/village level in programme geographies
— Proficient in Microsoft Office including excellent skills to work on Ms Excel
— Fluent in Hindi & English, proficiency in local language will be preferred
Position Overview: The Program Manager (Operations) would be working closely with the central team to consolidate learning’s and bring insights to drive the change process.
Role and Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Management (30%):
— Responsible for need analysis for capacity building workshops of intervention groups
— Draw insights and provide inputs on workshop curriculum for intervention groups
— Catalyse and ensure on-time delivery of curriculum to operation team
— Drive impact assessment and evaluation in tandem with data capturing
Stakeholder Management & Public Relations (30%):
— Network and liaise with government and corporate partners
— Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders and keep them in-sync with key interventions planned
— Build effective and efficient communication systems among all stakeholders
People Development (15%):
— Steer resource planning, recruitments, induction and capacity building sessions to enable increased efficacy of the team
— Stimulate goal setting, timely reviews and appraisals
— Demonstrate motivational and conflict management practices to boost the moral
Support to Program Director (PD) and other internal teams (15%):
— Leverage program director and assist in decision making for the interventions to stay relevant
— Think creatively and design systems, processes and frameworks
— Act as a proficient support to other cross-functional teams
Knowledge Creation & Dissemination (10%):
— Design tools and documents to capture the progress of the project
— Gather knowledge on best practices across world and contextualize them to the project
Reporting: Program Director
Remuneration: Between 5,00,000 to 6,50,000 INR CTC Yearly based on skills, experience and qualifications
