Position: Livelihoods Program Coordinator

Location: Sheikpet Nala, near Tolichowki, Hyderabad, Telangana

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

Educational Qualification: Graduate in any field. MBA / MSW preferred
Experience: 2-3 years work experience, preferably in a sales / marketing related field for NGOs or in skills training and livelihoods promotion

Skills required: 
— Hardworking, part of the team.
— Basic computer skills – should know Microsoft excel, Microsoft word, and sending emails
— Fluent in Telugu and Hindi. Working knowledge of English also required

Roles and Responsibilities: 
— Direct sales: Kriti sells products through exhibitions and the marketing executive will be responsible to identify more locations for exhibitions and sell the products in exhibitions. The exhibitions could be in Hyderabad or in other cities in India.
— Corporate customers: Kriti would like to supply products to shops and build a market for bulk orders. The marketing executive will help identify contacts in key shops in Hyderabad and outside and provide samples of our products and follow up to get orders
— Establishing new skills training (tailoring and hand embroidery) centers and mobilizing candidates to work in the centers. Also coordinating for placement of trained candidates.

About Kriti:

Kriti is a social enterprise working in slums of Hyderabad. Kriti has projects in the areas of livelihoods for women and education for children.

Kriti empowers vulnerable women by providing them with an opportunity to earn income close to their homes by training them on tailoring, hand embroidery and making newspaper bags. We then design and market products to provide livelihoods for the women. Kriti is working with over 50 artisans involved in tailoring and making newspaper bags. Kriti also promotes the use of traditional weaves and fabrics such as Mangalgiri and Kalamkari in our products.
