Position: Manager Placements
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
Eligibility Requirements:
Educational Qualification: Preferably Post-Graduate degree Social work, MBA
Experience: At least 3-5 years of management experience in the private or development placements sectors.
Job Role:
Functional Liaisons: Resource mobilization (generate placement leads), Corporate network, private and public sector engagements
Main Duty: Charged with the responsibility of regular interactions with industry, build network, generate placement leads across Karnataka.
Responsibilities of Placement Manager:
— Prepare a work plan related to generate placements for ongoing batches. (it includes the list of industries/other entities planning to meet over a period of 12 months at least)
— To assist in the development and maintenance of a database of appropriate employer and commercial/industrial links in all districts of Karnataka.
— To have close liaison with industry for placement of students and support the field teams in getting placements to successful trainees.
— To work in consultation with Industry (HR/Placement firms/ recruitment firms, etc.,) and training center staff.
— Build, Mentor & Maintain Placement Team in accordance to company policies and procedures
— Interaction for organizing lectures from the professionals from industry.
— Participate in Industry Seminars/Workshop related to Placements & HR
— To maintain corporate relations with all Employers and collect feedback from the companies coming for placement.
— To organize and attend placement visits/ Job Fairs/ Placements Drives/ Exclusive Drives/ Registration drives and to monitor the progress of students, and deal effectively with any issues/concerns that arise. And provide updates to the field staff.
— Arrange Training programmers for soft skills and for interview facing skills for the students using institutional and external expertise.
— Assist with briefing meetings on a group and individual basis with students and course faculty so that they understand the placement process, the level of support available and are fully equipped to undertake a successful placement.
— To communicate effectively with the Placement Co-coordinator and appropriate team members.
— Willing to undertake training where appropriate.
— Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
— Multiple Sectors handling experience expected.
— Handling counselling & career guidance center.
