Directorate General of Training, Ministry of Skill Development and Training (MSDE) is going to organize the programme for the 100th Regional Skill Competition for apprentices. The competition will be held in the month of September 2018.
The competition intends to be held in 15 trades i.e. Turner, Fitter, Machinist, Electrician, Welder (G&E), Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Electronic Mechanic, Draughtsman (Mechanical), Instrument Mechanic, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, Tool & Die Maker (Dies and Moulds), Tool and Die Maker (Press tools, jigs and fixtures), Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, Mechanic (Diesel) and Wireman to be conducted in the Month of September 2018 as per the programme given in the attachment below.
The venue for the competition would be at NSTI’s – Howrah, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kanpur and Ludhiana

The state apprenticeship advisers and Regional Directors of Apprenticeship Training Scheme are requested to furnish the full particulars of eligible apprentices in the above mentioned 15 trades to the Directors of NSTIs where trainees are supposed to appear for the 100th Regional Skill Competition.

Important to Note:
- The result for the competition of the trades: Instrument Mechanic, Electronic Mechanic, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance, Tool & Die Maker (Dies and Moulds), Tool and Die Maker (Press tools, jigs and fixtures), Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, Mechanic (Diesel), Draughtsman (Mechanical) will be compiled separately for each region and should be sent to the Directors of NSTIs concerned to which region the competition belongs so as to enable them to declare the result along with the candidate of the remaining trades.
- Any competitor directed wrongly to other Centre either by the State Apprenticeship Advisor or Regional Director will not be allowed to take the competition and in case he/she is permitted the sole responsibility shall rest with the Director of NSTIs
